Lightmotif OP2

Lightmotif's OP2 is a 5-axis laser machine tool designed for surface texturing and micromachining on complex 3D curved workpieces. Whilst designing the enclosure for the OP2, the design team was challenged to create an aesthetic that would both communicate the innovativeness of the core technology and also make the new product stand out from the crowd.  At the same time, the design would need to seamlessly blend into the cleanroom environment in which these machines operate.  The result is a prestigious machine that offers great workpiece accessibility due to its large modular opening doors.
